A resident of Clement Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Wauwatosa. Born to Eternal Life Thurs. Sept. 4, 1986 at the age of 85 years. Loving husband of the late Catherine (nee Heun), dear father of Lynn T. (Ward J.) Corriveau of Wauwatosa and Nan T. (Bob) Czerniakowski, Naperville, Ill., proud Grandpa of Anne (Dan) Kratz, John, Joe and Charley Corriveau, Bobby (Kristy) and Peter Czerniakowski, great Grandpa of Jessica Kratz, further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Sat. Sept. 6 from 12 noon until the time of a Family Prayer at 1 P.M. followed by a procession to St. Bernard's Church Village of Wauwatosa where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 P.M. Final place of Rest Holy Cross Cemetery.

John was the founder of J.A. Toennessen Co. and Investment Brokerage Firm in 1932 and later joined the Marshall Co. from where he retired in 1973. He was a lifetime member of the Milwaukee Amateur Radio Club, St. Bernard's Parish, and a past Trustee, St. Vincent de Paul Society and a past secretary, Holy Name Society and was the past secretary of the Bond Club.
