Laura Pearl Glover Schupp was the daughter of Nathan O'Neal Glover and Emma Jane Young Gray Glover. The family moved from Barbour County Alabama to Fort Smith Ar in 1891. Her mother and father died and left the 4 children as orphans. Laura and her two sisters Susan Leila and Ollie were placed in foster homes. Her two brothers George and Eli hid until the county agents left and went to Potts Camp, MS and worked for a friend of their father, they were 12 and 15 years of age. Laura was a much younger than her husband Edward "Eddy" Schupp and they had no children. They married in Hot Springs, AR and later moved to San Diego, CA. They lived there until their deaths. Both are buried in San Diego.
