When she moved to The Towne House Retirement Community, she filled her days with volunteering, playing pool, Bingo, and her most loved activity, going to Bible study and attending church services at the Towne House Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Robert; parents; and brothers, Randy and John Barnes; and Dusty. Graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Lindenwood Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at The Towne House Health Center, 2209 St. Joe Center Road.
