When she was 19 years old on December 6, 1906, she married Edward Louis Reynolds in Bangs, TX and from the union 6 children were born. Sadly the first son was still-born. Then came Edna Lucille (Barnes, Daniels) in 1908, Lewis Hubbard in 1911, Velma Catherine (Creekmore) in 1913, Robert Henry in 1915 and Ivan Oscar in 1926. The Reynolds family lived in and around Santa Anna, TX and spent some time in South Texas near Kennedy, TX where other relatives lived. They moved to Bangs, TX about 1939 and sometime during the 1940's bought a house on the corner of Santa Fe and 2nd streets where they lived the remaining years of their lives. Ed passed away on December 16, 1970. Mrs. Reynolds was a long time member of the Bangs Church of Christ.
Mrs. Reynolds passed away at the age of 93; she is survived by her children, Edna Daniels of Manteca, CA, Hubbard & wife Jean of Bangs, Velma Creekmore of Brownwood, Robert & wife Vada of Bangs and Ivan & wife Birdie of Brownwood, 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Annie Matthews of San Antonio and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: William Oscar Barnett, Molly (Mellye) Colbath, Charles Barnett, Claudia Camissa Fleming, Lonzo McMann Barnett and Willie Newton Blomquist
