Warren G. Anders, 75 of 913 Hoback St., Erwin, died at Johnson City Medical Center. He was an Elwood, Kentucky native and had lived in Detroit before moving to Erwin in 1972. He was a son of the late C.B. and Mary Fletch Hampton Anders.
Mr. Anders was a World War II Army veteran, having received the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon and Victory Medal.
Mr. Anders was formerly employed by Karmazin Products as a production worker. He was a member of Clinchfield Senior Citizen Center.
Mr. Anders was preceded in death by three brother and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Michael H. Anders of Daytona Beach, Florida, Tommy Caldwell of Unicoi and Keith Anders of Erwin; one sister, Vera Lee Anderson of Erwin and one granddaughter, Melanie Anders. *Source-Johnson City Press, 29 Nov 2000, Wed · Page 2
