Daisy Motsinger, 101, of Anderson, passed away October 7, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown after an extended illness.

She was born June 14, 1912 in Jennings County, IN, the daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie (Dailey) Buckles. She lived all of her adult life in Anderson and retired in 1971 from Guide Lamp after 28 years. She was a charter member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Thomas (wife, Diana) Motsinger of Anderson; daughter, Betty Smith of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Mark, Marla, Jeff, Susie, Charles, Floyd, John and James; 25 great grandchildren; 31 great-great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Buckles of Kankakee, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Motsinger; and her son, Floyd Motsinger and two grandchildren, Michael and Christie.
