Lillian M. Kelleher, 99, passed away August 13, 2006, at Palm Gardens Hospital, Largo, FL.
She was born November 13, 1906, in Prattsville, NY, the daughter of George and Grace (Squires) Peckham. She was married to George Dodge in April 1924. Mr. Dodge predeceased her in 1968. She married Cornelius Kelleher in 1978. He predeceased her in 1987.
In her many years in Ashland, she helped her husband establish and operate Dodge Bros. Garage and Chevrolet Agency. She was very active in community and church affairs. She was also an avid bowler. In later years, while residing in Florida, she enjoyed several cruises and touring Europe and the USA, including several trips to Hawaii.
Mrs. Kelleher is survived by her son, Robert, and wife Barbara Dodge, Ashland, NY; her daughter Bette and husband Raymond Osborn, Jewett, NY; a stepson Andrew Kelleher, FL; five grandchildren: Donald Dodge, Billings MT; Barbara Piscitello, Charlotte, NC; Patricia Hornbeck, Mt. Marion, NY, Joanne Overbaugh, Worcester, NY; and James Osborn, Saratoga Springs, NY; six great grandchildren and several nieces. She was predeceased by her sisters Lelia Smith and Olive Neish and her nephew Donald Smith.
Plans are being made for a memorial service at a later date. Cremation took place in Florida and interment will be in Pleasant Valley, Ashland, with arrangements by Decker Funeral Home, Windham, NY.
