Earl Eugene Arnold 86, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away October 5, 2013. Earl was born February 28, 1927, in Wellston, Oklahoma, to Ashley and Nettie (Moody) Arnold. He was one of five children. Earl married the love of his life, Lois (Larabe) Arnold, on September 19, 1949. Earl served in the Army and was a World War II veteran. He was a man of God, who was a Deacon in his family's church, Southside Assembly of God, for many years. He worked at Tinker for 27 years and also worked as a truck driver on and off throughout his life. He was a hardworking man who, from a very young age, always did what needed to be done to provide for his family. Earl loved fishing, raising his bees, working in his garden, reading old westerns, his wife's cooking, and being ornery. However, there was nothing he loved more than his Lord and his family, especially his "Shorty." He is survived by his son, Anthony Arnold and wife Deana, of Wellston; daughter, Wanda Stafford and husband Jerry, of Midwest City; daughter-in-law, Linda Moore, of Newalla; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Vernon Arnold, of Mcloud. Earl was preceded in death by his wife of over 64 years, Lois Arnold; and son, Earnest Moore. Services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Southside Assembly of God Church, 419 S.E. 47th Street in Oklahoma City, OK 73129.
