Mrs. Emma Klem, a former Hamilton resident, died April 10, in Abilene, TX in the home of her daughter, Louise Dart.

She was born may 25, 1880 in Wadena, IA, the daughter of Victor Perry and Anna Wells Corbin. She married August Henry Klem on December 25, 1895 in Spooner, WI. The family moved to Hamilton in 1920. Mr. Klem, a farmer and carpenter, died in 1937.

She is survived by her children, Walter Klem, Hamilton and St. James City, FL; Myrtle Smith, Albany; Marie Gorton, Hamilton; Louise Dart, Abilene, TX; Thomas Klem, Kimberling City, MO; Gladys Carroccio, Greene and Roger Klem; 31 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren; 27 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Three sons, Robert, George and Theodore predeceased her.

A memorial service will be held in Hamilton at a later date, with burial in Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville.
