Walter A. Dollison
Cambridge-Walter A. Dollison, 79, of 1301 Beatty Avenue, was dead on arrival at 2:15 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 14) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital after he apparently suffered a heart attack near the home of a daughter here.
Born March 29, 1888, in Pleasant City, he was a son of Justice L. and Elizabeth Jane Stone Dollison, and was a member of Ninth Street Methodist Church and Modern Woodmen of America. He was a retired steel worker and at one time by H.R. Candy Co.
Mr. Dollison is survivied by his widow, Nora Nettie Duniver Dollison; three sons, Charles W. of Cambridge Route 1, Vernon O. of Old Washington and Raymond E. of Toledo; two daughters, Margaret Dollison of the home and Mrs. Betty Jane Garvin of Cambridge; one sister, Mrs. Andrew (Hazel) Smith of Cambridge; four grandchildren. Two children preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Scott Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
