Antonia T. Tanuz Age 86 of Pecos, New Mexico went to meet our Lord on Thursday, March 4, 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Isidro Tanuz Sr.; son, Carlos Tanuz; grandsons: Eugene A. Tanuz and Joey Lopez Jr.; granddaughters: Mary Catherine Romero, Carloine Antonette Romero and Michelle Lee Gonzales. Antonia was born in Pecos, New Mexico on February 10, 1924 the daughter of Carlos Test and Josephina Quintana. She married Isidro Tanuz in Pecos on December 3, 1939. Mrs. Tanuz was a cook for the Pecos Independent School for 12 years and was also a member of St. Anthony's Parish. She is survived by her son, John and wife Margie Tanuz and their children: Lu Anna, Donna and husband Art Fierros, John Jr., and Myron and partner Dennis Gonzales; grandchildren: Jolene, Steven, Jacob, John Mychael, Amanda, Ryann and Megan; son, Ben and wife Lynn Tanuz and their children: Steven, Gina, Robert and wife Yolanda; grandchildren: Brittany, Benny, Christian, Tatianna, Tristan and Ashley; daughter, Josephine and husband Ernest Vigil and their children: Judith and husband Tim, Evelyn and husband Leonard; grandchildren: Daniel, Timothy, Joe and Brianna; son, Isidro "JR" and wife Phyllis Tanuz and their children: Jonathan and wife Darlene, Michael and Chris; grandchildren: Jonathan Jr. and LeeAnna; daughter, Mary Lillian Tanuz; son, Carlos (deceased) and his daughter, Shannon and husband Thad; grandchildren: Madison and Mason; daughter, Annabelle and husband Vicente Gonzales and their child, Melissa and husband Arturo Espino; grandchildren, Joaquin ad Christian; son, Albert and partner Everett Poe; son, Michael and wife Melissa Tanuz and their daughter Brandy; son, Marvin and daughter, Viola Tanuz; daughter, Marilyn and husband Santiago Lujan; daughter Noel and partner Gerald Boyd and children: April and Raoul; and daughter, Tomasita Tanuz and her children Terry and Michelle; brother, Rosenaldo and wife Julia Quintana; sister, Mary Varela and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010, 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church where a rosary will follow at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Pecos, NM. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 12, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Pecos Cemetery.
