Agnes Arehart Of Edina Dies In Kirksville
Agnes Mary Arehart, 82, of Edina, died Thursday evening at 6:58 in a Kirksville hospital where she had been a patient since Jan. 7.
The body is at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina where rosary will be said this evening at eight o'clock.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Joseph Church in Edina with the Rev. Fred J. Yehle officiating. Burial will be in the new Catholic cemetery in Edina.
Born Jan. 25, 1888, in Knox County, she was the daughter of Henry B. and Bridget (Kehoe) Klote. On May 6, 1925, in Edina, she was married to Nova N. Arehart who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1968. Also preceding her in death were one sister, Eva Lingenfelter, and six brothers, Peter B., Leo Ambrose, Francis, James and Vincent Klote.
Survivng are two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Maurita) Marquardt of northeast of Edina, and Veronica Lewis of Edina, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Arehart spent most of her life in Knox County with the exception of 25 years which were spent in St. Louis. Mr. and Mrs. Arehart resided in Kirksville at 819 E. Washington. After the death of her husband she returned to Edina.
