OBITUARY:

Douglas Martin Buehler

Douglas Martin Buehler, 55, of Elgin passed away Saturday in Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, IL. He was born October 7, 1947 in Elgin and was the son of Elmer and Helen (Young) Buehler. Douglas was a graduate of Larkin High School and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include two children, Jennifer (Timothy) Nichols of Marengo, IL and Jonathan (Emily) Buehler of Arizona, two grandchildren, Cody and Kaleb Nichols and his brother, Carl (Rebecca) Buehler of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin, with Rev. Dr. Sung-Ja Lee Moon officiating. Burial will be in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
