Mrs. Anna Rice, 72, widow of Perry Rice, of New Richmond Route 1, died Friday at 5:35 a.m. at the Wabash Valley sanitarium, where she had been a patient for two months. Born at Gladdens Corner, her husband preceded her in death December 17, 1934. She leaves six children, Mrs. Mary Jones, route 8; Morris and Frank Rice, New Richmond and Wallace, Ted, Charles and Martha Rice, of Route 5. Friends may call at the Murphy funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday. Services, Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. J. Newton Jessup of the Christian church, officiating. Burial in Concord cemetery.
