Votis, Irene M. Age 68, of Hiles, found peace Tues. October 10, 2000 at the Crandon Nursing Home. Loving wife of Pat; dear mother of Patricia (Dean) Scheels, Karen (Joseph) Malaczynski, and Teresa Votis; beloved grandmother of Peter and Adam Scheels, Jared and Hannah Malaczynski and Ryan and Dylan Blundon; caring sister of Ethel (Ivan) Calhoun, Ruth Adamski, Frances (Thomas) Kendall, and Vivian Tangness. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Friends may call upon the family on Sun., October 15 from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Mon. from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crandon with Father Ralph Gillis officiating. In memory of Irene, blood donations to the Wisconsin Blood Bank or Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.
