Henry Clan Hoffman, 39 years of age, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman, 303 Ash street, yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock.

Mr. Hoffman was a painter and a member of the Painters' and Decorators' union. He had been working in Missoula when he became ill and was brought home but failed to recover. He was born at Grafton, Neb. Sept. 24, 1883, but had lived for many years in this city.

Surviving are his wife and three children, Ruth, Mildred and Jack. Besides his parents there are three brothers, Aaron of Anaconda, Roy of Missoula and Leonard, who is on his way to the Pacific coast, and four sisters, Mrs. Roy Slosson and Miss Goldie Hoffman of Anaconda, Mrs. J. R. McMillan of Sidney, Mont., and Mrs. Ira Slater of Forsyth.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon from the home with services at the Christian church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. H. F. Ritz will officiate. Interment will be in Hill cemetery."
