Mrs. Rose Harbeck, 89, of Kewaskum, died early Sunday at Hope Nursing Home, Lomira.

She was born Feb. 26, 1880, at Kewaskum, a daughter of Nicholas and Margaret Harter Remmel. She was married to Don Harbeck, former publisher of the Kewaskum Statesman, on July 20, 1909, at Holy Trinity Church, Kewaskum.

She lived in Kewaskum most of her life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Kewaskum, the Ladies Altar Society and the Apostolate of the Suffering.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Frank Felix, Kewaskum; a son, William, Kewaskum, the present publisher of the Kewaskum Statesman; one sister, Miss Mary Remmel of Milwaukee; five granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1954. Two sisters also preceded her in death.
