Richard Allan "Dickie" Frazier passed away Wednesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Scott Twp., he was the son of Wesley Frazier and Marion Calvert Frazier.

He was a member of the Montdale United Methodist Church and attended Scott Twp. schools.

Prior to retirement, he was employed by Joyce Pipeline and Linde Enterprises.

Dickie was an avid sportsman and sports fan of the Lakeland Chiefs and followed all NFL teams, especially the New York Giants. He was active in and sponsored many men's and women's softball teams in Scott Twp. He was jokingly referred to as the "Mayor of Montdale," as he was well known and liked by everyone in the small community. You could always catch him on the front porch with a big wave. He will be greatly missed by all his closely knit siblings and extended family.

He is survived by a brother, Melvin; and sister, Joan, with whom he resided; a sister, Linda Powell and husband, Ken, Justus; brother, Gary, East Benton; brother, Jerry and wife, Ester "Bonzo" Frazier, Montdale. Bonzo and his niece, Kim, were his loving caretakers. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William "Moose" Frazier; and sister, Sandy Greene.

The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Robert E. Decker Funeral Home, 702 River St., Peckville, with services by Rev. Barbara Snyder, pastor of the Montdale United Methodist Church. Interment, Scott Valley Cemetery, Montdale.

Friends may call Friday, 5 to 8 p.m.
