He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years, Loraine Baros; brother Joe Jr. and sister Georgie.
He served his country in the United States Army as a staff sergeant while fighting in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign. He earned the bronze star and victory ribbon in the Philippine liberation and the good conduct medal while in Japan.
His happiest times were fishing, hunting, and sitting on the porch at Jerry's Place which he owned and operated for ten years. He loved woodworking and spent most weekends after retirement at Mary's Place selling his crafts. He loved to watch the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys when they won. He also played Bingo at Weber Bingo Hall where he couldn't wait to get there to be with his friends.
Interment to follow service at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
