FULLERTON, Cal., Aug. 23.— As Mr. and Mrs. George X. Apkins of Los Angeles were returning home last night from a hunting trip. Mrs. Apkins was instantly killed by the accidental discharge of a shotgun. She was 35 years old. The gun was discharged as Mr. Apkins jumped from the buggy, the trigger catching.
