Mrs. Electa O. CALVERT, eldest daughter of Samuel and Emily TRIBBY, was born September 25, 1878, at the old homestead southwest of Solsberry where her parents still reside, and departed this life at her home in South Bloomfield November 13, 1918, of influenza and pneumonia. She was aged forty years, one month and eighteen days. On May 10, 1903, she was united in marriage to Osceola CALVERT, of Bloomfield, whom she leaves to mourn her departure from this life, together with her father and mother, three brothers—Horace TRIBBY, of North Platte, Neb., Ralph and Homer TRIBBY, of Solsberry, and two sisters Mrs. W. H. SURFACE, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. George Fuller, of Riola, Ill. The deceased was a member of the m. E. church, having united with that church at Solsberry in early womanhood, and a few years since transferred her membership to the church at Shelburn, Indiana, where she lived for several years. Three years ago last March she removed to Bloomfield where she had may friends and relatives and was highly respected. The funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the family residence conducted by Rev. J. D. SMITH, after which the remains were laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery. Mrs. CALVERT was a faithful wife, a loving daughter, a true friend and a Christian woman, and was most loved by those who best knew her.
