Drennan - The funeral of Mrs. Cassandra Drennan was held at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the Stout Baptist Church near Cotton Hill. Rev. J. L. Scott of this city officiated, and the interment was made in the family plot in Stout's Cemetery.
A choir composed of Mrs. Thomas Shepard, Mrs. William Knotts, Mrs. Nora Charm, Mrs. Sarah Mitts, Mrs. Emma Clayton, with Joel Stout presiding at the organ, sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Asleep in Jesus." The pallbearers were Robert Jones, Chatham; Frank Young, Pawnee; H. J. Spurway, Albert Knotts, Edward Willen, and Clarence C. Cloyd.
