Harold E. Bing, 85, of Gilbert, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 02, 2013 at his home. He was born in Edgemont, Arkansas on March 11, 1928 to Estil and Jeffie (Smith) Bing. Harold married Esther Killion on March 13, 1952.

Harold served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was a retired machinist with Claridge Products and a lifelong member of the Gilbert Christian Church. He was a local weather correspondent for the National Weather Service for almost 30 years.

Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Esther; son, David Martin Bing; grandson, Dustin Michael Bing; parents; grandparents; and brother, Tommy Bing.

He is survived by his children: Charlie and wife Betty of Harrison, Becky Sanders of Lisbon Falls, Maine, Diane Shelnutt of Gilbert, Mike and wife Shona of Gilbert and Mark and wife Becky of Van Buren. Nine grandchildren: Shalon Sanders, David Bing, Nathan Bing, Brandy Sanders, Sarah Bing, James Bing, Sean Bing, Lyndsey Bing and Tyler Shelnutt and nine great-grandchildren. Brothers, Russell Bing and wife Donna, Estil Bing Jr., Howard Crider and wife Alyce, and sisters, Emodene Warinner and husband Jack, Estella Roberts and husband Carl, Dorothy Larson and husband Larry, Betty Bowerman and husband Junior, Janelle Brown and husband Jim, Nada Lee and husband Larry, and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 07, 2013 at the Gilbert Christian Church in Gilbert, Arkansas with Ben Killion officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Sunday, October 06, 2013 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will be in Gilbert Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Bing, Mike Bing, Mark Bing, David Bing, Nathan Bing, James Bing, Sean Bing and Tyler Shelnutt. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Gilbert Christian Church.
