James Morgan, 81, was the son of Isaac and Elizabeth (Allyn) Morgan. He married Ruth Webster of Hartland, Vermont on Dec. 31, 1804. She was the mother of their four children. After her death he married Olive Benton on March 1, 1852. Elder Morgan was a Free Will Baptist clergyman and was ordained in Northfield, Vermont. He came to Windsor in 1840.
