Dorothy Jane Jones No Services Scheduled Dorothy Jane Jones, passed away September 20, 2005. Mrs. Jones was born on February 9, 1914. Dorothy married Eston Jones in 1939 and they made their first home in Taft, CA, later moving to Long Beach and then to Bakersfield. Eston was in the oil business and spent several years in Alaska at which time Dorothy, remained in Bakersfield and finished her college education to become a 1st Grade teacher. Dorothy was an avid reader, did China painting and needlework. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Organization and Order of the Eastern Star. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two infant daughters and her husband. She is survived by her three nephews, one niece and one sister-in-law.
