J. R. WILSON DIES OF HEART ATTACK THIS MORNING Was Burlington Section Boss Living in South Douglas
John R. Wilson, 49, Burlington section boss living on south Third street, died suddenly about 3:30 this morning of a heart attack. Mr. Wilson had not been ill. He had attended to his duties yesterday as usual and his sudden passing was a shock to his family and friends.
Wilson was born at Parkersburg, W. V., July 30, 1889. He was three years old when he first came to Wyoming, locating at Hyattville with his parents.
In 1910 he was united in marriage to Miss Lois B. Boles.
In 1933 Mr. Wilson and his family were transferred to Converse county, being stationed at Lockett, a few miles above Orpha on the Burlington. Previous to this he had been stationed at Worland for 14 years. He had been a Douglas resident for the past three years.
Surviving are his widow; three sons, Earl, Clifford and Chester, all of Douglas; three brothers, C. L. of Worland, S. T. of Prosser, Wash., and Ernest of Arminto, Wyo., two sisters, Mrs Iva Loudan of Worland and Mrs. J. W. Bell of Forrest Grove, Mont.
Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from his brothers. It is thought the services will be held Saturday or Sunday. Burial will be made at Worland.
