HIGH POINT - Mrs. Margaret Inez Dalton Davis, 90, formerly of Penny Rd. died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Pennybyrn at Maryfield.

Mrs. Davis was born April 9, 1918, in Guilford County; a daughter of Walter P. and Stella Williams Dalton and had lived in this area all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First Wesleyan Church. On May 28, 1936, she married Ervin Ray Davis Sr. who died April 8, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ervin Ray Davis, Jr.

Surviving are her daughter, Norma Davis Pierce of 103 Penny Rd., six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Roland Cavanaugh officiating. Mrs. Davis will remain at Cumby Family Funeral Service, High Point for friends to pay their respects on Friday morning.
