Brad was a wonderful & loving son, husband, father and friend who always put others before himself. He moved to Wichita in 1960, graduated from East High in 1977 and married the love of his life in June, 1982. His dream was to always provide a better life for his family which he loved very much and to live his life for the Lord. Employed by Allen Trenching for over 19 years working as a field supervisor in the utility construction industry for SBC, KG&E and Cox. Brad was most happy outside, or at his lakeside cabin on Beaver Lake in Arkansas. He was always there with a helping hand when others needed him on the land or in the water. Brad was an active scout leader with troop 736 throughout both of his son's scouting careers. As a youth Brad was active in Pack and Troop 606 as a Cub Scout, a Webelos Scout, and a Boy Scout. He achieved the highest rank in Boy Scout in 1973 when he was awarded rank of Eagle Scout. He was elected to the Order of the Arrow and was a member to the Hi-Cha-Ko-Lo lodge. As an adult, he served as a leader in both Pack and Troop 736 for10 years. It is estimated that through Brad's involvement and leadership in Scouting, he has touched the lives of more than 300 youth and adults.
