Beulah Marion Alderson was born to Roy Valentine and Ethel K. (Osborn) Alderson on May 21, 1924 in Midvale, Idaho. She spent her childhood and attended schools in Idaho and Washington.
On June 24, 1946, Beulah married Bishop Pierce Kline in Colville, Washington. To this union, four children were born. The couple shared nearly 50 years of marriage together before Bishop's passing on April 8, 1996.
After raising her family, Beulah furthered her education at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, graduating with a bachelor in nursing. She found employment at Horizon's Care Center in Eckert, retiring with more than 20 years.
Beulah enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, sewing and she loved to cook. More importantly, she loved and cherished her family and close friends.
Beulah was a longtime member of the Grange in Hotchkiss.
Beulah is survived by her son, Harry (Cindy) Kline, of Cedaredge; two daughters: Betty (Monte) Balcom, of Ellensburg, WA, and Edithe (George) Cress, of Harrison, ID; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bishop Kline; her son, Charles Roy Kline; two brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service honoring Beulah's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Cedaredge. Burial will follow at the Cedaredge Cemetery.
