Christine T. Pursche, 89, of Waco, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013, at a local hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 4, at Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Wimberley and Margaret Friend officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 3, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Christine was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Benjamin F. and Myrtle Idella (McFarlin) Teague. She graduated from Waco High School in 1943 and married Ernest John Pursche on April 23, 1944 in Waco. She was a homemaker and member of Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church which she dearly loved. Christine was the most loving person who would rather take the hurt than hurt someone else and lived her life daily for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her brother, W. A. Teague; and her sisters, Evelyn Smith and Ruth Teague.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Pursche, of Waco; son, Larry Pursche, of Waco; daughter, Carolyn Johnson and husband, Dale, of LaMarque; grandchildren, Jennifer Oren, Brian Pursche, Kimberly Riendfliesch, Rachel Keehn, Eve Mora and David Johnson; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
