Karen Stephanie Hetrick was born July 12, 1949 to Karl Hetrick & Jacqueline Ellis Hetrick, in Rochester, NY.
Karen was a loving mother to three children. After living most of her life in upstate New York, Karen moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida in 2002, and spent the rest of her life there.
Karen fought a very hard battle against breast cancer and won! A true survivor, she urged and encouraged others to get cancer check ups.
Karen loved the ocean and enjoyed Florida very much. She was starting a new job and enjoying her life in St. Petersburg, when she passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 26, 2013. She is loved and missed by all who knew her.
