He was a farmer all of his life and was an Army veteran of WWI.
Survivors include his wife, MRS. IVA GOE PORTER, three sisters, MRS. MARGARET FRANKS, MRS. ELIZABETH MORGANTHALL, and MRS. LOUISE KOONTZ; a brother, JOHN W. PORTER.
Burial in Greene County Memorial Park.
