Daughter of George Gay and his wife the former Martha Baker. Born 21 April 1885 at Kellerville Illinois. Married Lee F. Syrcle 21 August 1903. Belonged to Zion Lutheran church.

Adell M. Syrcle passed away 7 February 1968 at a nursing home in Barry, Pike county, Illinois. Her husband Lee F. Syrcle predeceased her, 13 January 1967.

Reverend William Harum led the funeral held at a local funeral parlor, with interment at Quincy Memorial Park, in Quincy Illinois.
