Mr. Banks was a native of Lincolnton,Ga.,the son of Ezra W. and Emmie Albea Banks.He had resided in Grovetown for the past 18 years.He was a retired Machinist and a member of the Bethany Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife,two daughters,Mrs. John Huffman and Mrs. Jackie Whitaker,both of Grovetown,three sons,Alfred Banks of Savannah,Ellis Banks of the U.S. Navy, and Donald Banks of Grovetown,three sisters,Miss Agnes Banks and Mrs. Eva Goldman,both of Lincolnton and Mrs. Maggie Martin of Washington,Ga.;three brothers,Johnnie Banks and Roy Banks,both of Lincolnton and Robert Banks,of Grovetown,and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the AMerican Legion Post of Lincoln County.
