The Chico Enterprise, Thursday Evening, February 3, 1927: "Edward Albin Taken By Death. Edward Albin, 76, resident of Chico for the past 40 years, died at his home on Pomona avenue yesterday evening. Albin was a native of Missouri and has been actively engaged in agriculture near Chico during his entire residence here.
"He is survived by the widow, Emma Price Albin; a daughter, Mrs. Mamie Johnson; a grandson, Fred Tyler; and two brothers, Charles and Joseph Albin of Butler, Missouri.
"Funeral services will be held at the Bicknell & Moore funeral parlors, Saturday afternoon at 2:30, the Rev. W. L. Mellinger of the Christian church officiating. Interment will be made in the Chico cemetery."
