Genevieve was very artistically talented. She drew an intricate pencil rendition of deer near a forest area that was framed and placed in the Grable dining room, which was admired by relatives for many years. Her nickname was GG, and she was vibrant and loved attending the Tower Grove band in the summertime. She worked at the Meyers Drug Store as a bookkeeper. GG was engaged to a young man in her neighborhood, when she suffered from a fall and hit her head, and never recovered, dying of multiple aneurisms.
