Sadie A. Cavender, 89, of Kenna, formerly of Charleston, died March 12, 1997, in General Division, CAMC, Charleston WV. after a short illness.

She was the daughter of William Joseph Edens and Ethel Florence TATE. The widow of Oscar William Cavender.

Surviving: son, Arnold of Kenna; daughters, Irene Ervin and Lessie Maberry, both of Charleston, Jessie Thurman of Lake City, 32 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
