On September 25, 2013, our mother chose to leave this earthly existence and join her eternal companion, Rodney Eugene, and their four sons.

Mom was born April 12, 1926 in Tropic, Utah to Gilbert and Vida Campbell.

She married the love of her life in the Manti Temple on August 3, 1942 and spent the next fifty-three years together until his death in 1995.

She is survived by five children, Jerry (Dalene), Shirley Perry (Michael), Marie Jensen (Mark), Carol Syndergaard, and Joseph Syndergaard. Preceded in death by Jay Syndergaard, three infant sons, parents, two sisters, and three brothers. She leaves a legacy of nineteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Mother had a tenacity to live life to its fullest, and in doing so, accumulated many friends. To those friends we say "thank you" for sharing Mom's life experiences. Mother's ability to overcome physical challenges in her life was an example to all that perseverance and determination is a great prescription to live a fulfilled and complete life.
