Vera Eugenia Lovell Galbreath, born 1915 passed away September 24, 2013. Vera was a lifelong resident of Springville, AL and a member of Springville First United Methodist Church. Vera and her husband, Roston G. Galbreath, were co-proprietors of Auto & Electric Supply until Roston's death in 1973. Vera continued to run the business until she retired at age 87. She was a brilliant, compassionate, and generous woman and she was much loved. Vera was preceded in death by her parents John E and Missouri Simmons Lovell, husband Roston G Galbreath, and son, Roston Hugh Galbreath and great-grandson, Caleb VanPelt. She is survived by daughters Glenda (Rex) VanPelt, Merle Dollar and fiancée Garry Burttram, Kathy (Jimmy) Callahan, and Carol (Kevin) Kiefer. She is survived by grandchildren Jerry (Becky) VanPelt, Lindy (Butch) Alverson, Benjamin (Dana) VanPelt, Alysia (Steven) Reisman, Brandi (Scott) Churchill, Celeste (Travis) Adamson, Vanessa Oakes, Gary (Kelsey) Dollar, Steven (Kristin) Kiefer, and Rory (Mallory) Kiefer. Great-grandchildren include Jessica, Amy, Roston and Emily Kiefer, Callianna, Johanna, and Samantha VanPelt, Alexander VanPelt, Sarah and Katie Reisman, Skyler Alverson, Kinley and Carson Churchill, Moira Finney, Aiden Hand, Trinity, Gaberial, Preslee and Piper Dollar. She is also survived by sisters Allene McCray, Jean Howard and Linda Harwell, brother, John Lamar Lovell, and many nieces and nephews. For those wishing to remember Vera, donations to the Springville First United Methodist Church in her memory would be cherished. Visitation will be Friday, September 27, 2013 from 12 PM until service time at 1 PM at Springville First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
