Body of Hudson is Recovered Sunday In Snake River

The body of Bert Hudson, 56, who was drowned in Snake river Dec. 2, 1944, when he was hunting with David Koski, who also lost his life, was found about a mile from the scene of the accident Sunday by his brother, S.S. Hudson, Sherriff A. A. Moline reported today.

Hudson and Koski were hunting ducks on the river and their motor boat was overturned when the anchor caught on some debris on the bottom of the river. Koski was found about a week after he was drowned.

Hudson is survived by his wife, Mabel of Donnelly and the following children; Mary Dailey, Wilmer Hudson and Alberta Ferguson of the U.S. Army, Ruth Hudson of Donnelly; sisters, Martha Thompson, Anna Schierkolk of Denver, Alice Bradford of Niwot, Colo., Mrs. A. L. Newell of Sacramento, Agnes Fritz of Powell, Wyo., Gladys Close of Laurence, Neb.; brothers, Willis Hudson of Denver, Ben Hudson of Powell, Wyo., and S. M. Hudson of Caldwell.

Graveside services will be held at Canyon hill Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 4 p.m.
