Nola Adamson Capell, our beloved mother and grandmother, of Boise, Idaho, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 15, 1998.

Nola, the youngest of four children, was born in Woodville, Idaho on November 6, 1935, the daughter of Kenneth Adamson and Bertha Huntsman Adamson. Nola was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was raised in Idaho Falls and Pocatello, Idaho. She then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she attended high school. She was an excellent student and was active in school functions. Nola married Jack J. Capell in Pocatello, Idaho on July 12, 1952. During her marriage of 26 years, she raised four sons and one daughter.

Nola and Jack owned and operated retail stores in Lander and Riverton, Wyoming and following their move back to Utah, Nola owned and operated a hotel in Spanish Fork, Utah for many years. She was a very hard worker who loved her children and was dedicated to providing the very best for them.

Nola's best friend was her loving mother, Bertha. She was devoted to her mother and following her stepfather's death, she moved to Boise, Idaho to move in with her mother to help provide for her care. Nola was a very good and kind person with a loving heart who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nola was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Adamson; her stepfather, Turner Markey; her sister, Donna Jean Adamson; and her brother, Kent D. Adamson. Nola is survived by her mother, Bertha Markey of Portland, Oregon; sister, Zoy Johnson of Portland, Oregon; sons, Vincent Jack Capell of St. Joseph's, Missouri; Lance I. Capell of Orem, Utah; daughter, Collette Schiefelbein of Taft, California; sons, Mark James Capell of Sandy, Utah; and Jason Lee Capell of American Fork, Utah; and 12 beautiful grandchildren.

Nola's children wish to express gratitude to our grandmother, Bertha; Mom's brother and sister and their families; Mom's aunts and uncles and all extended family and friends for the love they have shown to our mother over the years. Our special thanks to all who watched over and assisted mom during her last years of declining health.
