Mr. Burnette died Wednesday July 27, 2005. Born in Johnston, SC he was a son of the late William Mason and Emmie Workman Burnette.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Merry Anne and Earl Carr;
granddaughter Kelly Mason Osteen and her husband Kyle; and great-grandson William Mason Osteen. He was predeceased by his wife of fifty-six years, Louise J. Burnette and his brother, Guy Patterson Burnette.
