Roberson, 80, dies in Texas - son of Nathan Newton (?!) and Nancy Gattis Roberson - Died in Stephenville, TX on Jan. 23, 1949. Native of Franklin Co. TN, born and reared in the Faris Chapel Community. Went to Texas in 1889, and located in Erath Co, TX, where he married and reared a family of 3 girls and 4 boys.
Survived by wife and children, one brother, Charlie Roberson, a sister,Mrs. Fronia Payne, both of Franklin Co. Two other sisters, Mrs. Roy Howerton and Mrs. Rebecca Faris, reside in Texas.

William Marion Roberson and Nancy Josephine Roberson were 2nd cousins. William was the grandson of David Walker Roberson and Nancy was the granddaughter of William Magee Roberson.
