Mary D. Beverina, 76, of Washington, Pa., died unexpectedly at 12:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005, in Washington County Health Center, Washington.

She was born May 11, 1929, in Washington, a daughter of Henry and Mary Tomassini Beverina.

Miss Beverina was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

She was a homemaker who had worked at Duncan Miller Glass and later at Hazel Atlas.

Miss Beverina especially enjoyed dartball and played for Jessop Club for 40 years and for Fraternal Order of Eagles 687.

Surviving are a sister, Caroline Forgas of Washington; nieces, Joyce Novak, Carolyn Celani, Barbara Allen, Colleen Craig, Danise Moore and Yvonne Weaver; nephews, Lewis Nichols and Michael Forgas; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Deceased are four brothers, Henry, Carl J., Julius C. and Dominic Beverina; and three sisters, Ennes Beverina Borkowski, Ida Nichols and Theresa Witchoski.

Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 19, with the Rev. Nicholas Spirko officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
