Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Runge chapel and at 9 in St. Alphonsus church for Fred Gosline, 65, a life resident of Davenport, who died suddenly of a heart attack at 10:30 a.m. Friday en route to Mercy hospital. He suffered the attack at his home, 2239 Newberry street, a short time earlier. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Runge chapel.

Born Feb. 26, 1888 in Davenport, Mr. Gosline had been employed in the maintenance department of the Davenport public schools system for the last 38 years. He attended schools in Davenport and married Edith Welzenbach April 9, 1910, in Davenport. He was a member of St. Alphonsus church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Allen, Davenport; a son, Dr. Eugene Paul Gosline, Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Derksen, Mrs. George Huff and Miss Marie Gosline, all of Davenport; two brothers, Raymond, Hollywood, Calif.; and Harry Gosline, Miami, Fla. A daughter and a sister preceded him in death.
