MR. BOMAN BOLEN RETIRED MAIL CARRIER


Mr. Boman Henry Bolen, 88, died Saturday, March 14, 1998, in Aiken.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mole Funeral Home, Barnwell, with the Rev. Keith Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Blackville Cemetery, Blackville.

Mr. Bolen, a native of Elko, had retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier. He organized and led a Christian ministry at Springfield Flea Market.

Survivors include two sons, Thurmond Bolen, Moncks Corner, and Lanier Bolen, Cross; two daughters, Barbara Blackman, North Augusta, and Faye Bodiford, Barnwell; and 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Watkins, Nelson Bolen, Chris Bolen, Travis Bolen, Clint Bolen and Sheridan Bolen.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
