Alice L. Briody, age 69, of Crystal Lake, beloved wife of George M. Briody; dear mother of George M. III (Lisa) Briody, Margaret (Joseph) Holohan, Patricia Briody and James E. (Cynthia) Briody; loving grandmother of Alice, Joseph, Sarah, Patricia, George, James, Liam, Evelyn, Sean, Brian, Brianna, Kyle, Robbie, Daniele and Lauren; fond sister of Patty (Bill) Brady and the late Dorothy Rott. Visitation Sunday, August 12 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home (Rte. 176, 3 blks. east of Rte. 14), Crystal Lake. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Church (Rte. 176 and Oak Street), Crystal Lake. Burial at Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
