Viola Artz, 59, of LaFollette, died Wednesday, March 30, 1994. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Etta Grider; and two brother, W.C. and Billy Grider, all of Scott County. Survivors include her husband, Barchal Artz; two sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Gail Artx and Barchal Jr. and wife, Terry; two daughters and son-in-law: Loretta and Jeff Hill and Hattie and Jeff Bullock, all of LaFollette; one brother, Bobby Grider; four sisters: Juanita Claxton, Pauline Lackey, Evelyn Chambers, and Sue Chambers, all of Scott County; six grandsons: Kenny Jr., Jeff, Dusty, Jerry, Jason and Benjamin; two granddaughters: Wendy and Amanda; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services were held Sunday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Goins and Rev. Jim Reed officiating. Interment followed in the Campbell Memorial Gardens. Martin Funeral Home of LaFollette had charge of funeral arrangements.
