LOUIS G. GUADAGNOLI

Longtime McLean resident of 43 years, Louis G. Guadagnoli, an economist and former loan officer for the Export Import Bank died September 22, 2013, at age 83. He lived with Parkinson's disease for over 20 years, and was active until the last week of his life when he suffered a fall and died from complications resulting in pneumonia.

Born July 21, 1930, in Clinton, Massachusetts, he served in the Army intelligence in Austria, and received his PhD in Economics from American University.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Susan R. Guadagnoli; his two daughters, Merisa Bainbridge and Amy McFarlin; two grandchildren, Madeline and Jack McFarlin; sister Julia, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 30 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA 22101. Burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
