Mary, a resident of Española, was predeceased by her husband David S. Griego; son Donald Griego; daughter Rosanne Kincaid; brother Fred Gallegos; and sisters: Ines Ayala and Bernadette Chacon.
Mary was survived by her children: Barbara James (husband Mark), Patricia Valerio (husband Leonard), and David Griego; brother Albino Gallegos (wife Nora); sisters: Connie Schleft (husband Bill), and Carmen De Paoli; grandchildren: Christopher Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Sean Kincaid, Jessica Kincaid, Michael Valerio, Amanda Warren (husband Fabian), and Brittani Griego; great-granddaughter Julianna Warren; many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a strong woman with a tremendous amount of faith who loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. Aside from her cooking, she will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A Rosary and Memorial Mass were on 27 Sept 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española. Burial was on 28 Sept 2013 in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque.
